Ulster Scots Summer Scheme Activity Week
An Ulster Scots Summer Scheme Activity Week will take place from Thursday 5 July to Wednesday 11 July in Donemana Presbyterian Church Hall. Events will commence at 10.30am each day and finish at 3.30pm and certificates will be presented at a ceremony at our Fun Day on Wednesday 11 July from 5pm in the playing fields.
The Ulster Scots events have been organised by The Drummond Centre Project in conjunction with Dennet Interchange and are part of a wider 3 week summer scheme finishing on Thursday 26 July.
45 children from the Donemana area have registered and the Ulster Scots Summer Scheme Activities will provide an opportunity to introduce the children to a number of elements of the Ulster Scots tradition these include language, dance, art and music.
Fun day at the playing fields from 5pm-11pm on Wednesday 11 july. attractions include bouncy castle, face painting, giant slide, sumo suits, bungee run, junior and teenage disco in marquee and a fireworks display.
