MCSC- Burglary

Police in Strabane are appealing for information following a burglary in the Carricklynn Avenue area sometime during Wednesday night (19th).

The owners woke this morning to find someone had broken into the house and taken the keys to a silver Ford Mondeo that had been parked in the driveway.

It is understood the culprits gained entry via the back door.

An attempt was also made to steal a car from a neighbouring property.

Police want to hear from anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area, particularly around 3.30am.

Anyone with information can contact the station on 0845 600 8000 or 'Crimestoppers' on 0800 555 111.
