KNOCKAVOE School and Resource Centre rocked with the sounds of children from The Courtyard Play and Learning Centre and Knockavoe School's Nursery and P1 classes to mark the end of a fun year for all.
The fun and games were facilitated by staff from the Western Education and Library Board's (WELB) Strabane Community Library, Strabane Surestart and Knockavoe School and Resource Centre, aided and abetted by the eloquent L. O'Kane.
Activities included Jo Jingles, face painting, rhyme time and a big barbeque. The fun day was a fitting conclusion to a very successful year at The Courtyard Play and Learning Centre, which reopens again in September at Strabane Community Library.
The event was supported by Strathroy Dairies, Mitchell Meats, Doreen Laird (Jo Jingles) and the Friends of Knockavoe.
