A GANG of teenagers, congregating at night close to estates in Castlederg, are causing residents to feel intimidated.
The large gang of teens are gathering at what's known locally as the 'post office corner' and are said to be engaged in anti-social behaviour.
According to a local Unionist councillor, their hang outs include Breezemount Park, Young Crescent, the 'Back Lane', Lurganbuoy Road, Lower Main Street, Killeter Road and the 'Castle Site.
"Residents have contacted me about this group of young folk, aged in their early to mid teens, and are being generally disruptive.
"Residents out walking are being forced to step off the pavement as they won't move and their presence is quite intimidating.
"One resident said his garden is being used to store alcohol, whilst others have spoken of verbal abuse by the gang.
"Some residents suspect that there is a link between this gang congregating and incidents of damage, like car mirrors being broken, in the area."
