Surfing the net is made easy

If you want to be able to use a computer to do your shopping and banking, or book a flight or holiday, then you should get along to the 'Silver Surfers' event at North West Institute this Friday 25th May.

'Silver Surfers' Day' gives you the chance to surf the net, learn how to send emails, and develop IT office skills, and what's more, it's all for free!

The event is part of Adult Learners' Week, an international project aimed at encouraging people to think of a return to education.

Friendly and qualified staff from the Institute will provide guidance on how to use a mouse, using the keyboard, or to introduce the computer to those wishing to use it.

The activity begins at 10am at the Institute's Strand Road Centre, and promises to be fun and enjoyable for all!

Contact 028 7127 6000 for more details.
