AN ARMED man made off with an undisclosed sum of money following a robbery in Strabane at the weekend.
Shortly before 10pm on Saturday (26th) an employee was cashing up at a bingo hall at Main Street when a man entered the office and pointed a handgun at her.
He asked her where the money was kept, and then made off with a sum in cash.
The robber left in foot along Lower Main Street and got into a silver car at Christy's car park.
He is described as being in his mid 30s, of a slim build and about 5' 8" tall. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, dark body warmer and a blue jumper.
