Shopping in Strabane

THE weather outside may indeed be frightful, but there's nothing like a Christmas shopping trip to Strabane to warm the heart.

Last Saturday saw the big switch on to signal the official start of the festive period and now it's time to gather in those presents.

Whether you're buying for the kids, a loved one, a relative or a friend, Strabane has it all.

With a wide selection of boutiques, electrical stores, supermarkets and hardware stores, there really is something for everyone.

And once you have the Christmas shopping done, why not pop into one of the town's many restaurants or cafes for a bite to eat.

Or if you are feeling a little more adventurous, then you can always relax with a hot whiskey in one Strabane's welcoming pubs.

Once you are set for home, simply make your way to one of the town's friendly taxi services who will guarantee you a safe trip to your own front door.

So, with less than four weeks to go, get the tinsel out, the presents wrapped and get singing along to that Christmas CD because shortly the bells really will be ringing out for Christmas Day!

Have a very Happy Christmas.
