A STRABANE couple are opening up their prized garden to raise money for cancer care.
Mr and Mrs Brian Mooney's garden at 20 Leckpatrick Road, Ballymagorry, has already been the subject of the BBC Two television programme "The Secret Garden," and for one day only members of the public are invited along to see this horticultural haven from 2pm to 5.30pm on Saturday June 9. An admission fee of £3 will be collected, with teas available.
Event organiser Norman King said, "This mature two acre garden has something for every gardener - water features, alpine beds, flowering shrubs and lots of woodland walks.
"It's well worth a visit this time of year for colour and fragrance," he adds.
The event will raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
On the day, Mr Mooney will also offer a selection of home-grown plants for sale, with proceeds donated to Vision Aid.
