Death of man in town not suspicious

The death of a 53 year-old Dunamanagh man is not being treated as suspicious, according to the PSNI.

Quarry worker Patrick Gormley, of Dunnyboe Road in Altishane, passed away in the car park at Upper Main Street on Tuesday afternoon despite the efforts of staff from the nearby Health Centre.

A Police spokesperson confirmed that there was no suspicion surrounding the death. He said, "At around 12.20 police received a report that a man had died in a car park in the town, after being attended to by doctors at the scene. A post-mortem was carried out and nothing suspicious was found."
