Thanks to all for scary house

On behalf of the Ballycolman/Linkside Community Development Association, I wish to thank all those who were involved in our Halloween events, the haunted house, the fancy dress parade and our fireworks display.

Most especially, I would like to thank all those who volunteered their time and energy in the setting up of the haunted house, sometimes into the small hours of the morning, for their enthusiasm and commitment during the performances twice nightly over seven days.

Thanks to St John Ambulance members who were in attendance at every performance and gave so much support and invaluable assistance throughout the week. Also to Ashleigh Moss of the Connect Project Strabane District Council, to Pauric, Phil and Luke from the Hot Rock Studios for their expertise and guidance throughout the project.

To all those who helped with sponsorship for both the haunted house and the fireworks display, David McNally, Medicare (John Duffy), Brian Haughey, McGinnis Construction, O'Neill's Sports, Sigersons GAA, Essentials (Seamus McGoldrick), Supervalu, ASDA and the general public who contributed to our collection box in Davey's shop.

Lastly, I would likek to thank all those young and old who visited the haunted house, those who came prepared to be scared, but could not believe their eyes, those who were too brave to be scared but left screaming, and to those who returned again and again. Without each of them, the project would not have been such a fantastic success.

Hopefuly, next year with the same commitment and enthusiasm our Halloween events will be even bigger and better. Once again a grateful thanks to all.

Robbie Winters

Chairperson
