Punk rules as Pistols
hit town

Not Johnny Rotten ... but top tribute band, The Sex Pistols Experience, who go through their punk paces in 4M Club on Saturday, May 3.

The world's leading and only professional tribute to the most outrageous and controversial rock'n'roll band of all time – The Sex Pistols – perform in Tapasia at Dicey Reilly's in Strabane on Friday, May 2.

Sex Pistols Experience has played well over 1000+ worldwide shows, are regulars on the European touring and festival scene, and have, to date, completed three extensive tours of the USA, taking in cities from New York to Los Angeles, El Paso to Seattle and everywhere in between. So convincing is the live show that the BBC, Sky TV, Channel 4 and Fox TV (in the US) have all hired them for re-enactments in film and TV documentaries on punk and the Sex Pistols.

thumbs up

The Sex Pistols Experience have had the thumbs up from many of the original band and their inner circle and they've played live with guitarist Steve Jones in Los Angeles, had bassist Glen Matlock guesting on the same bill in Liverpool, and Sid Vicious's guitarist 'Steve Dior' perform with them on stage at London's legendary 100 Club, and regularly play with Ed Tenpole Tudor, star of the Sex Pistols film The Great Rock'n'Roll Swindle.

No other Sex Pistols show has the commitment to perfecting the look and sound down to every last detail, making sure every concert performed is as dynamic, explosive and exciting as the 'real deal'. They have all the spit and venom of the '77 period, blended with the ability of the seasoned musicians of the 1996 and 2003 reformation tours.

A Sex Pistols Experience show is a rare chance to hear all the classics from one of the most influential albums of all time – Never Mind the Bollocks, ripping through gigs with rousing renditions of Pretty Vacant, God Save The Queen, Anarchy in the UK, Holidays in the Sun, Sid's Vicious's classic version of My Way, plus a few suprises, B sides and rarities thrown in. All performed live by talented musicians, who first and formost, are lifelong fans of the band themselves.

determination

This band have earned their wings through sheer determination and hard work, often in the face of adversity and uphill battles to win over the approval of the most critical of audiances and die-hard fan's around the world.

The band is gaining recognition in the entertainment capital of the world – as Pick of the Week for their second apperance in Las Vegas and going on to perform a sell-out show at BB King's on Broadway.

younger generation

They are also elevating themselves to the top of the tree amongst UK-based tribute bands, playing both for the fans of 30 years ago who may never of got a chance to see their heros live, and the new younger generation who are just finding out what all the fuss is about.

The Sex Pistols Experience is also re-creating the same electric atmosphere and awesome wall of sound. They give the impression that anything could happen, and always leave the crowds shouting for 'more-more..'
