Team relay thanks

Can I, through your paper, thank Western's Best Land Cruisers, (Shirley Jervis, Malcolm Weir, Daniel Curley and Seamus O'Kane) for running in the team relay with me on the 5th May in the Belfast Marathon.

I would also like to thank everyone who sponsored us and supported us in the Knocks, Lisnaskea, Enniskillen, Trillick and surrounding areas. Everyone was very generous and we raised a total of £1,329.08 for Cancer charity and Peter Pan Playgroup.

I would especially like to thank my mum, Pamela McElroy, Rita Reid, Pat and Collette McCaffrey from Western Cars and Kevin and all the gang in Cookstown for helping me collect the sponsorship and to all my family and friends who have been very generous and supportive.

I would also like to mention that we are having a Barbecue/Fancy Dress Barn Dance on 21st June in Trillick with prizes for the best male/female. The evening starts around six o'clock with a children's disco.

Then we have the golden oldies, ending with a disco for the middle ages. We would also welcome musicians/singers to come along and join in the craic. DJ Mo will keep playing if we keep dancing.

Tickets will be on sale shortly with proceeds again to Marie Curie/Peter Pan Playgroup. Come along for a family night out. Everyone welcome.

Kittey O'Kane,

Trillick
