Definitely Mightbe the best Oasis tribute band

Don't miss Oasis tribute band, Definitely Mightbe when they perform at 4M Club in Benedicts in Omagh on Friday, June 20.

Definitely Mightbe – the

ultimate Oasis tribute outfit – will play their Omagh

debut when they appear at the 4M nightclub in Benedicts on

Friday, June 20.

The band doesn't share the back stage bust ups or sibling rivalry as the real thing, but they do have a lot in common when it comes to reproducing the rousing anthems, stage presence and atmosphere that the original Oasis created.

With over two hours of material to draw from – including all the hits from all six albums, live favourites, B-sides and a few of Noel's acoustic numbers – when the lads start there's no stopping them. The audience at Definitely Mightbe gigs can get so wrapped up in the experience that you'd be forgiven for thinking that you were watching the real Oasis. As one very pleased punter said, "I'm going to see the real Oasis later this year and if its half as good as that, I'm in for a bloody good night."

experience

The band has been together for about seven years now and each member has nine years experience of playing in different projects, going to make an exceptional line up of people epitomising professionalism, reliability and confidence at all times.

With several hundred plus gigs under their belts across the length and breadth of Britain and Ireland, the band has a wide experience of playing to every type of audience. They have played pubs, clubs, private parties and most well known tribute clubs. Big gigs of note have included The West Belfast Festival three years running, with 3,000 people watching and The Mathew Steet Festival in Liverpool for four years, where last year, 25,000 attended.

Lead singer Ian bares an uncanny resemblance to Liam Gallagher and has worked as a look-alike in Britain appearing on the Channel 4, Sky TV, Richard and Judy and has been used in advertising campaigns, which have appeared in Q Magazine, Loaded and the national press.

Jeff takes the role of Noel Gallagher. He sings what Noel sings and plays what Noel plays with frightening authenticity, often stepping up for a solo acoustic spot when the mood takes him.

Kev takes on the mantle of Andy Bell in the band and while he doesn't look particularly like the Oasis bassist, his experience and technique are more than enough to ensure that the performance is every bit as good as it possibly can be.

The band's drummer is Carl. He could be Alan White, or Zac Starkey or Tony McCarroll, but whichever Oasis drummer you care to name, Carl plays any of the song with consummate ease and style. He also endorses Sonor drums and demonstrates at their drum clinics, so you know he's good.

Phil is the band's Gem Archer. Phil loves music and he loves Oasis and it shows.

So, as good as the real thing? Well, they, Definitely Mightbe.
