COUNTY team mates Brian Dooher and Kevin Hughes both didn't feature for their respective sides at Aughabrack as Clann na nGael made it eight wins out of eight with an emphatic fourteen point win over Killeeshil. Kevin Devine and Ciaran Bannon exchanged points early on but after that it was all downhill for the visitors as the hosts took complete control.
Corner forward Stephen O'Neill hit four points with Gary Devine also on target before a late Adrian Ball major enabled the home side to establish a seven point interval lead. Shane Mallon scored the visitors' only second half point as Clann na nGael turned the screw with Gareth McDermott scoring their second goal, Sean O'Kane getting his name on the score sheet and the on song O'Neill taking his personal haul for the afternoon to seven points.

TRILLICK'S relentless pursuit of leaders Clann na nGael shows no sign of letting up as they recorded a comfortable double scores victory over Moortown at Donnelly Park to maintain their unbeaten run. Points from Colum Campbell, Philip Muldoon and Padraig Hagan helped the Loughshore men into an early lead but they then failed to register for the remainder of the half as Trillick took over.
Niall Gormley, Shane Gormley and Denis Connolly all had Trillick points before a Daniel McDonald goal left them 1-6 to 0-3 to the good at the break. On the restart a Campbell brace gave the visitors renewed hope of mounting a comeback but in a low scoring second period the St.Macartans always looked to be in control with Emmett McFadden and Mattie Donnelly both on target. Trillick were reduced to fourteen men in the closing stages when Connolly was sent off for a second yellow card offence but by that stage the points were already safely in the bag.
Emmetts in mid-table

GOALS at the start and finish of this encounter ultimately proved to be the difference between the two sides as Eskra picked up a vital victory at the home of fellow strugglers Edendork. Paul Marlow got their opening major after a couple of minutes and that helped them to establish a 1-8 to 0-4 advantage by the break, Ryan Gartland with five points for the Emmetts with Paul Turbitt also on target.
David O'Donnell and Gary McCurry shared half a dozen points for Edendork with Justin Corr also on target as the bottom club fought back to within striking distance of their opponents.
Gartland's eighth point of the afternoon gave the visitors a little bit of breathing space before Eskra made sure of victory when Cormac Arkinson intercepted a clearance to fire in a goal in the third minute of injury time for a result that lifts the Emmetts up into a midtable position.
Tatts slump goes on

THESE two sides' fortunes have changed since the opening couple of rounds of the league and that trend continued here as Tattyreagh slumped to their fifth defeat while Moy stay in contention at the business end of things in the table. Three points from Sean Cavanagh coupled with efforts from Anthony Rafferty and Mark Donnelly had Moy in control before Chris McCarroll scored one of only two first half points for the hosts.
It was the opposite at the start of the second period as Tattyreagh hit back through Colin Harkin, Kevin Gallagher and McCarroll but Cavanagh's sixth point of the game as well as a goal from his county team mate Ryan Mellon swung the game back in favour of the visitors. Tattyreagh held their opponents scoreless in the final sixteen minutes and tagged on points from Sean Gormley and Conor Taggart but Moy had done enough.
St Columba's recovery

Rock 0-10
URNEY recovered from four points down at half-time to win by the same margin at home to Rock for a result that lifts the St.Columbas up a few places in the Intermediate league table. Martin McCreesh, James McCreesh, John Ward and Conor McCreesh all landed points for the visitors as they led 0-8 to 1-1 at half-time, Ronan Lafferty with the Urney goal and Chris Bogle getting the point.
Rock were restricted to just two second half points as Urney hit back with the wind now at their backs. Stephen Lafferty, Fergal McNulty and Ronan Lafferty all weighed in with a brace of points each while Chris Bogle got the decisive second goal for a result that keeps Rock still just above the danger zone at the wrong end of the table.
'Castle effort in vain

Greencastle 0-12
GREENCASTLE mounted a second half comeback but their efforts proved to be in vain as Derrylaughan collected the points at the Loughshore to move into a midtable position and leave the visitors still in the bottom three. Fergal and Gerard McAliskey scored a brace each for the Kevin Barrys with Ciaran Gervin grabbing a goal as the home side led 1-6 to 0-4 at half-time, Shane Coyle and Kevin Ferrity on target for Greencastle.
Gervin, Kevin Coary and Ciaran Gervin supplied second half points for Derrylaughan but it was Greencastle who enjoyed the better of things in the scoring department as Coyle took his haul to seven with Sean Warnock and Plunkett McAleer both getting their names on the score sheet but Derrylaughan held on despite losing midfielder Paddy Quinn to a broken collarbone.
Pomeroy prospects damaged

Pomeroy 0-8
STEWARTSTOWN kept their title hopes alive while at the same time damaging the prospects of fellow challengers Pomeroy thanks to a comfortable seven point success on Friday evening.
Paul Dillon and Peter Armour exchanged early points with Ciaran Slane and Christopher Colhoun before a Ryan O'Neill effort gave the Harps an advantage that they were never to lose as they led 0-6 to 0-4 at half time, Plunketts midfielder Jarlath Quinn with the visitors' last score of the opening period. Pomeroy were dealt a blow early in the second half when Quinn picked up a straight red card although a Slane free managed to keep them in contention.
The extra man though began to tell for the Harps with Gareth Devlin, Fergal O'Neill and Armour all tagging on points as they ran out convincing winners in the end against a Pomeroy side that relied on Slane's accuracy from frees, he ended the contest with half a dozen points.
Cavlan back for Clarkes

Gortin 2-13
DUNGANNON welcomed back Gerald Cavlan for his first appearance of the season but he couldn't prevent Gortin from continuing their recent surge up the Intermediate league table with this comprehensive victory at O'Neill Park.
Sean McIntosh and Conor McGinn were among the points for the Clarkes as they established an early 0-4 to 0-1 lead but they failed to score for the remainder of the first half as Gortin hit 1-6 without reply with Diarmuid McNulty and Kevin McCullagh supplying points for the visitors and Kevin McKearney grabbing the goal.
Cavlan came on as a substitute in the second half and got his name on the score sheet while McIntosh took his tally to four but McCullagh, Kevin Mossey and McNulty finished with eleven points between them for the St.Patricks with the latter also converting a penalty.
as they picked up their fourth win of the season.
