Jumpin' Jack Flash is Stones' favourite to open at Slane

TICKETS for the Rolling Stones summer concert at Slane were snaooed up in just over an hour when they went on sale last week. With only 60,000 up for grabs as opposed to the usual 80,000 they were sure to sell out in record time.

The Stones will rock Slane castle on August 18 and the bookies are already taking bets on what song they'll kick the show off with.

Paddy Power make Jumpin' Jack Flash their favourite at evens to open the concert while old classic Brown Sugar is 12/1. It's thought the rock Gods will keep their massive hit song Satisfaction until last, although they might decide to play it first to work up the crowds' appetite. For that reason the bookies are keeping it short in the betting at 6/1.

Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power, said, "There's no show like a Stones show. They might be all averaging 60 but these rock legends know how to work a crowd. Satisfaction will definitely be guaranteed at Slane."
