The rights of mental patients ignored

A campaigner for the rights of psychiatric patients is holding a number of public meetings throughout Northern Ireland to establish whether or not there is a pattern of neglect, under-stimulation, and minimal care. Volunteer carer, Francis Morgan will hold one such meeting in Omagh College Conference Hall this coming Monday (26) at 7pm, all are welcome.

Mr Morgan claims that criminals are often treated better than the mentally ill. Other events will be held in the, Old Museum Arts Centre, Belfast on 27, and in the Great Hall, Magee College on Thursday 29. Anyone who cannot attend the meeting but would like to hear mr about the campaign can contact Francis at 94 Ardglass Road, Downpatrick, BT 30 7DX.
