Jane Teague (Nee Mc Hugh), a native of Scraghy, Castlederg and formerly of Knocknahorn and Cornamucklagh, Dromore died in Edinburgh on Sunday December 31, 2006. She was predeceased by her husband, John James in September 1999.
Jane and John James emigrated to Edinburgh, with their nine children, in 1963. She is survived by her daughters; Mary, Philomena, Josephine, Kathleen and her sons; Patrick, Seamas, Daniel, Gerry and Sean and by her grandchildren and great grand children. She is also survived by her brother, Hugh Patrick, Crilly Park, Killeter. Her other brothers Barney( Scraghy) and Jimmy ( Dreenan, Ballybofey) died in 2000 and 2005 respectively.
Jane's funeral took place on Friday January 55 at St Ninian's Church, Edinburgh with burial in the family plot at Mount Vernon cemetery. Fr Pat Mc Hugh (Western Theological institute, Galway), a cousin of the deceased, presided at the Funeral Mass and interment, assisted by Fr Mike Fallon, Edinburgh.
