Cllr Pat McDonnell has welcomed the decision by DRD Roads Service to install a second disabled parking bay at Main Street, Dromore.

After a recent meeting with DRD officials, he said, "It is my understanding that the new disabled parking bay will be installed opposite the post office and convenient to the local butcher's premises. The kerbs will also be dropped on both sides in order to facilitate disabled users.

"I ask all able-bodied drivers to use the very adequate carpark and leave the disabled bays for those who need them."
