3 girls suspected in shop theft

POLICE in Omagh are seeking assistance in identifying three teenage girls believed to have been involved in a theft from a local clothes shop.

At around 4pm on Tuesday, three girls aged 13 to 15 went into the Scarffe's Entry premises and one bought an item. After they left, staff realised that a green hooded top had been stolen.

Anyone who saw three girls, one of them wearing a grey hooded top, in the town centre, is asked to contact police. The number to call with any information is 0845 600 8000, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Handbag stolen at village BBQ

A WOMAN has had her handbag stolen while attending a barbecue near Sixmilecross.

The incident happened at Tirooney Road on Saturday.

Window smashed at Grange

A WINDOW has been smashed at the council offices at the Grange in Omagh. The damage was discovered on Monday morning and anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area over the weekend is asked to contact local police.
