High Kings head for Omagh

The High Kings who bring their acoustic concert to Dun Uladh next Saturday night, June 27. Tickets for the show are currently on sale from Dun Uladh on 028 8224 2777.

Following their huge success in 2008, Brian Dunphy, Martin Furey, Darren Holden and Finbarr Clancy – The High Kings – are hitting the road again to bring their new live show to Omagh.

The band consists of Brian Dunphy, Martin Furey, Darren Holden and Finbarr Clancy and between them play a total of 13 instruments bringing a rousing acoustic flavour to brand new songs and old favourites.

The four members of The High Kings are all top class performers, each bringing a different vocal sound to the collective palette. Coming from accomplished musical pedigrees, The High Kings grew up in households soaked in the Irish musical tradition and each member of the band witnessed first hand the power of well crafted Irish music on an audience.

In this new show, which visits the Dún Uladh Cultural Heritage Centre on June 27, The High Kings are showcasing their incredible versatility and skills as multi-instrumentalists, bringing a rousing acoustic flavour to brand new songs as well as some old favourites.

With this new show, The High Kings will be up close and personal, continuing to live up to their reputation as a phenomenal live band, serving up laughter, good times and even the odd sing along.
