ECUH-Omagh notes

Omagh Youth Centre

Hip Hop Classes - These classes (10 week course) starts on Tuesday, January 23 until March 27 at Omagh Youth Centre from 7-9.30pm. Age 8-12 years. Cost £20 for 10 weeks plus £4 membership if not a member.

The Christmas disco takes place on Friday, December 15 from 7-9pm. Admission £3. Bouncy castle, slide, face painting, etc.

The club will be closed on Monday, December 11 for the Gateway Club dinner. Drama will continue on Monday, December 11 and Monday, December 18.

As part of the girls programme in the club, a trip has been arranged to Derry on Friday, December 15. The group depart at 5pm from Leisure Centre car park to go to the Bowling Alley, followed by shopping to the Foyleside. The group will return at approximately 11pm. The cost of the trip is £5 per person.

Christsmas Pantomine - There will be a trip to the Millennium Forum to see Cinderella on Friday, December 8. The bus departs at 6pm at Leisure Centre car park and will return at approximately 11.15pm.

West Tyrone Federation of Youth Clubs - December 7 General Knowledge Quiz in Greencastle Youth Club. December 11 - P5 and under mixed soccer in Langfield Youth Club.

Monaghan Healing Mass

A monthly Healing Mass will be beld in the St Louis Convent Chapel on Monday, December 11 at 8pm. Rosary 7.30pm. All welcome.

Bridge Club

Results for Thursday, November 30 - Christmas bottle winners - 1st North/South - Sean and Peg O'Neill; 2nd North/South - Fr J McCrory and Attracta McCusker; 1st East/West Hugh McGovern and Anne Marie Montague; 2nd East/West - Anne Conlin and Joey Murphy. There will be no Bridge on December 7. Christmas dinner and presentation of prizes on December 14 at 6.30pm.

CRUSE Breavement Care

Bereavement Care Omagh/Fermanagh would like to thank the manager Brian and staff of Marks and Spencer, Omagh for their courtesy and assistance on our fundraising day in the store on November 25.

The sum raised was £808 and many thanks to the shoppers who contributed so generously to our charity and our thanks also to the volunteers who packed dthe bags on the day.

Dún Uladh

Dún Uladh's regular traditional music seisiún continues this Saturday night from 9pm in the main bar. These very talented local musicians provide a lively mix of traditional jigs and reels with room for dancing. Come along and enjoy the ceol agus craic. Everyone welcome.

Saturday, December 16 sees a singing sensation with Tadhg Maher and Ned Kelly live in concert. These exciting and renowned musicians have been creating a stir wherever they go and Tadhg's newest album has been flying off the shelves. The Old Tyme Dancing classes take place on Thursday nights from 9pm with Set Dancing on Mondays from 8pm.
