Brackaville 0-9 Owen Roes 1-8
It's not the start that Brackaville were looking for in life back in division three as this defeat at O'Brien Park means that they are still searching for their first win of the campaign.
Things appeared to be going according to plan in the opening half hour as points from Ciaran Currie, Paul Rouse and Paddy Girvan enabled them to lead by three at the break and when Ryan Hughes split the posts on the restart they were ahead by double figures, 0-8 to 0-4.
That's when the pendulum swung in favour of the visitors with Aidan McCrossan, Declan McCrossan and Mark Kelly all weighing in with points, the latter also bagging a crucial goal. Owen Roes then had Kevin O'Neill sent off but they managed to hold on with keeper Dylan Early brilliantly tipping a Conor McStravog effort over the bar.
