THE Camino of Santiago de Compostela follows the route taken by medieval pilgrims in Northern Spain and in June Carrickmore man Paddy Grogan walks it to help raise funds for MS Ireland, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland.
As a prelude to this a special ceili night takes place in the rustic setting of An Creagán on Friday, April 27.
Some of Tyrone's best musicians, storytellers and singers will perform including Dan Neeson, Peter McRory, Mick McIlkenny and Paddy Grey. Joining the throng will be Hugh Grogan and family, Paddy Allen and Peter Farrell from Co Meath.
Banter and tall tales will be provided courtesy of Declan Forde and Paddy Grogan.
This ceili style entertainment is unique to Tyrone and this event, 'A Feast of Irish Music,' celebrates that tradition.
With all voluntary contributions going towards an eminently worthwhile cause this certainly promises to be a night to remember.
In addition to the music and craic a raffle will also take place and in true vernacular style, tea and soda bread will be served. Door open at 8.30pm.
