LOCAL artist Margaret Scott is once again staging an art exhibition of her new paintings entitled Nature's Glory. The setting is her beautiful traditional red shuttered cottage, Oak Cottage, on the main Kesh to Enniskillen road, 1km west of Lisnarick.

The exhibition's title relates to both her botanical paintings and her landscapes. The latter capture the glorious colours of Tyrone and Fermanagh in their various moods and changing seasons, while the botanicals immortalise the intense beauty of the wayside and garden flowers.

A few landscapes were inspired by lovely vistas experienced while travelling further afield. Various mediums were used: watercolour, gouache, oil, silk, acrylic, also some ceramics.

The exhibition runs over the May Bank Holiday weekend, May 4-7. All are welcome to visit between 11am and 5pm.
