I would like to take the opportunity through your paper to express my appreciation to the people of Omagh for their generous support of our street collection held on Thursday, July 10, when we raised a total of £758.79.

All the money raised will be used to support the Action MS Mobile Care Centre. The professional care advisors who will travel with the care centre will bring the Action MS services to the people living in rural areas of Northern Ireland.

Action MS also funds medical research and provides care programmes such as medicare breaks, befriending, advocacy and Careline, a telephone helpline available Monday-Friday 9-5pm and Saturday and Sunday 1-5pm on freephone 0800 028 8833.
