OMAGH District Policing Partnership (DPP) is seeking the support of parents to reduce anti-social behaviour and ensure the safety of young people, by asking the question "Where is your child tonight?"
The campaign involves a series of ads on local radio. Omagh DPP has decided to run this campaign which has been used in Craigavon and Fermanagh to highlight the need for parents' support in tackling underage drinking and ensuring the safety of their children.
Omagh DPP chairman, Cllr Charlie Chittick said, "The campaign seeks to raise awareness amongst parents of the part they can play in reducing anti-social behaviour, reducing underage drinking and reducing crime in our area.
"Not only have we seen a rise in the levels of anti-social behaviour, there has also been an increase in the number of assaults committed by young people on other young people, which is certainly a trend we don't want to see developing," Cllr Chittick said.
