BRUH-Omagh police notes

Bicycle theft

A BICYCLE has been stolen from playing fields in Omagh. The silver Appollo mountain bike was stolen from the playing fields at Cranny between 5pm and 5.30pm on Monday October 29.Anyone who can help recover it is asked to contact police in Omagh.

Bins damaged

TWO wheelie bins have been destroyed and a third damaged by fire at Retreat Close in Omagh. The damage to the bins was discovered on Thursday morning. Anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact local police. The number to call with any information is 0845 600 8000, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Bonfire

MOTORISTS are being advised to take extra care near a bonfire in Castlederg tonight (Monday). A crowd of between 400 and 500 people is expected at the bonfire at Mitchell Park. It is scheduled to be lit at about 7.30pm

Parades

MOTORISTS are being advised to exercise care on encountering Remembrance Day parades in North Tyrone on Sunday (November 11). In Castlederg, there will be a Royal British Legion parade at 2.30pm from the Main Street car park to the cenotaph and then on to 2nd Castlederg Presbyterian Church for a service. A return parade will set off at about 5pm.
