Big school initiative at Holy Trinity College

YEAR 8 students, assisted by some Year 13 pupils, recently took part in a Young Enterprise Seminar Big School Programme held in the College Assembly Hall at Holy Trinity College in Cookstown.

The day seminar, organised by the Business Studies Department and funded by Invest Northern Ireland, was greatly enjoyed by all participants.

HELP SETTLE

The aim of the seminar was to help Year 8 students settle into their new school and it provided them with the opportunity to get to know one another and work together as a team.

OPPORTUNITY

Each group then had to present their work to the other students in Year 8 providing them with an opportunity to learn some new presentational skills. The Year 13 students, with their experience of school life, were able to provide invaluable assistance to the Year 8 students.

The Young Enterprise Project Big Schools Seminar has been so successful that it is now an annual event at the college.
