This site presents the National Museums and Galleries of Northern Ireland (MAGNI) online, which include the Ulster Museum, Armagh County Museum, the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum and the Ulster American Folk Park. W5 is also listed; it is a wholly owned subsidiary of MAGNI. The main feel throughout this site is the promotion of learning; whether it is for school children, youth groups, work experience or adults of all ages. Each museum runs educational programmes derived from their main themes, all aimed to educate, entertain and create awareness. A tall order, one that MAGNI.org.uk aims to meet by providing full access to all museum collections and knowledge in as much as it can, without you actually visiting the museums. To keep up to speed with what's happening click the 'What's On' link and view the events calendar for all museums under MAGNI. If you are interested in Archaeology, Folklife or Emigration, then visit www.magni.org.uk for the relevant links.
