A 26-YEAR-old woman is in a serious condition in hospital following a traffic collision that occurred near Castlederg in the early hours of Wednesday morning (Novemnber 28). It is believed that the woman was travelling towards Castlederg on the Ganvaughan Road shortly after midnight when the blue BMW car she was driving left the road. At this time it is not believed that any other vehicles were involved. Police investigating the collision are appealing for witnesses to come forward. They also want to hear from anyone who was on the Ganvaughan Road at the relevant time and can be contacted at Strabane on 0845 600 8000.
