Drumquin Wolfe Tones' Youth presentation evening was recently celebrated in the clubrooms. Tyrone senior star Ryan McMenamin was the guest speaker and spoke to the young players about the need to focus on the enjoyment and dedication of the sport.
He stressed that this was a time to have fun and make friends and that the success he has achieved was not something that he achieved at underage level and that anyone could achieve, not only those who were successful from a young age.
Ryan presented awards to a range of winners, from under eights up to under sixteens, both the boys and girls, including several who had represented Tyrone over the past year. Youth Officers Noel Donnelly and Maggie Skelton thanked the managers who had assisted throughout the previous year and all of those who had given their time voluntarily to assist in any way in the organisation of youth activities.
