Old Tyme Dancing

GORTNAGARN old tyme dancing class resumes on Tuesday September 11 in Strathroy Community Centre at 8pm.

Everyone is most welcome to come along and enjoy a good night, meet new friends and have a cup of tea.

Dances to name a few, include highlands, polkas, barndances, various waltzes, quicksteps, foxtrots and many more. Tutor Ken and Isobel.

Barbecue

SEAMUS and Genieve Brogan invite you to a barbecue at McCrea's Bar and Lounge, Glenhull, Greencastle on Friday September 7 at 8.30pm. Music by Replica (Frankie Devine).

All proceeds in aid of Multiple Sclerosis.

Riding for the Disabled

OMAGH Riding for the Disabled will start on Tuesday September 18 with the evening ride. Wednesday and Friday rides as usual.

There will be training sessions for new volunteers on Tuesday September 11 at 6pm and Wednesday September 12 at 9.30am. New volunteers very welcome.

Dún Uladh

AFTER the success of our Summer Seisiún's tour, our weekly entertainment continues on Saturday night with the best in Music, Song & Dance in our front bar from the best in local talent. Music starts at 9pm.

Come along to Omagh's only dedicated traditional music venue, a great night for family, friends and visitors.

Sharon Shannon Concert - Sharon Shannon and her Big Band will play Dún Uladh on the 9th of September. Tickets are now SOLD OUT!

Tommy Fleming - Dún Uladh are proud to announce that 'The Voice of Ireland' Tommy Fleming will Play Dún Uladh on Saturday 3rd November.

Tickets for this concert will be available form the Dún Uladh Box Office, priced £21 from next week. Tel 028 8224 2777.

Dún Uladh is available to hire for all weddings, birthdays, anniversarys or other functions.

Omagh Comhaltas Class

REGISTRATION for the Comhaltas class will take place on Thursday September 13 in St Joseph's Hall from 6-7pm. The music class will resume after registration from 7-8pm.

Tuition in whistle, fiddle, banjo and mandolin by tutors Aishling Campbell and Nuala McBride. Fee for 12 week course £30. Tuition fees payable in advance. Family discount available for three or more family members. Comhaltas membership fee - adults £8, children £4, family £14.

Knockmoyle

BOWLS - Beginning Monday October 1 from 8-10pm, all welcome.

Dance workshop - Every Tuesday night 8.30-11pm. Tea served. Everyone welcome.

Old tyme dance - Friday September 7 from 10-12.30pm. Music by Larry and Co.

Card Craft Class - Beginning Thursday September 20 for six weeks 7.30-9.30pm. Enquiries to Louise (028 82247631). Class by Heather Wilson 'Crafty Cards'.

First Aid Course - Expressions of interest to members of the committee.

Knockmoyle Youth Club - The club will begin in October. More details to follow.

Childrens Drama Class - Beginning on Thursday September 13 at 4pm.

Irish Class - Adults and children, commences on Th ursday September 13 from 5-6pm. Enquiries to any member of the committee.
