The role of Vice President this year will be held by Gerard O'Hanlon.
During the past year membership has risen by nearly 40% and this sustainable growth looks set to continue, further re-enforcing the fact that Omagh Chamber of Commerce and Industry is about change and the betterment of doing business in the district of Omagh.
Looking forward to his year in office Marcus stated, "With devolved government now in place, Northern Ireland could be a different and indeed a better place to do business. I believe Omagh has many opportunities to prosper further and I certainly will be making every effort to continue on the back of previous presidents relentless work."
Mr Isherwood said that at the recent president's banquet and business awards nearly 300 attended thus making it one of the largest of its kind locally/
He continued, "I believe the chamber is the only really effective means of connecting local government to business. These connections will be vital for future economic growth of the district and as we enter the era of RPA, Omagh Chamber of Commerce could play an important part in the shaping of local economy".
