Omagh Methodists gearing up for 150th celebration weekend

LOCAL Methodists are preparing for the 150th Anniversary of Omagh Methodist Church on Saturday and Sunday September 29 and 30. The celebration will give thanks to God for his faithfulness over 150 years of worship and witness, and to remember people, events, and activities that have contributed to the life of the church over the years.

On Saturday floral window displays depicting the seasons of the year and church life will be on view with memorabilia, photographs and old church records. Tea and coffee will be available to visitors.

Rev. Roy Cooper, President of the Methodist Church, will preach at a special service of celebration on the Sunday at 11.30am.

Everyone is welcome at the church on both days. For further information please contact Esther Millar(8224 4138), June Carmichael(8224 1462) or
Kenneth Strong(8224 3121)
