Castlederg's most successful musical export, The Logues, will be returning to The Town House on Sunday night to promote the release of their first single and music video for 'I Don't Love You At All'.
The six-piece folk-rock band have quickly earned a reputation as being one of the finest live bands in the North-West, and the single should see them reaching an even wider audience this year.
The music video was filmed by Castlederg photographer Jennifer Acheson, a talented student of photography at the University of Ulster in Belfast, and if the preview pictures are anything to go by, it promises to be a blockbuster.
The band began some time in 2006 when Christopher 'Beers' Speer got drunk in a Castlederg watering-hole and booked a band for St. Patrick's Day despite not being a member of one. The Logues were the result of his search for local friends and musicians; they had their first practise on March 16 and their first gig the next day. They enjoyed it so much they decided to continue, soon realising that being in a band was a perfect cover for drinking six nights a week.
Sunday will be a night to remember, so come along to The Town House Castlederg before 10pm (early to get a seat). If you'd like to hear more visit www.myspace.com/logues or www.bebo.com/thelogues
