An Omagh woman will be tried at the Crown Court on a charge of unlawfully and maliciously causing bodily harm to a male with intent to cause grievous harm.
Charlotte Mary Murray (29) of Culmore Park, Omagh is alleged to have carried out the assault on a date unknown between October 18 and October 21 last year. The Public Prosecution Service told Omagh Magistrates Court Murray 'does have a case to answer.' She was released on her own bail of £500 and an independent surety of £500. She has also been ordered to refrain from alcohol and have no contact with the alleged injured party.
Defence solicitor Michael Fahy was granted two counsel for the trial after telling the court, "This is a very grave offence."
