Terry takes on Belfast

Terry Keyes joins the Find Me The Funny at the Ulster Hall.

By John McCusker

OMAGH comedian Terry Keyes joins the other finalists from the BBC hit TV show Find Me The Funny live on stage at the Ulster Hall in Belfast this Sunday night.

Terry joins fellow comics Aaron Butler, Des O'Gorman, Gemma Hutton, Mickey Bartlett and Sean Hegarty as they bring a whirlwind of comedy to a live audience in the newly refurbished concert venue.

These are the six outstanding comedians who made it through the demanding classes and tasks set up in the TV show.

During last summer they were led by their comedy guru Kurtis Matthews, CEO of the San Francisco Comedy College. With the benefit of his experience, his advice and his guidance, the final six sailed through auditions of over 140 people and finished up with a show that stormed the Edinburgh Festival.

The six previously unknown comedians managed to fill a 350 seater venue to capacity twice in one day, and raised the roof with a show that had people laughing from start to stop. Since then, each of them has been working hard to hone their skills in individual performances the length and breadth of Northern Ireland.

This Sunday night (November 22) will see the comedians reunited as a group for the first time since Edinburgh, with a new show full of new material that promises to set the standard for stand up comedy in Northern Ireland to a new level.

This is the perfect opportunity to see six of Northern Ireland's brightest new comedy talents at the start of what promises to be an illustrious career for each of them. Tickets are moving quickly, so make sure you get yours today.
