Clann na nGael 3-14
Edendork 0-4
TWO sides at opposite ends of the Division Two table went head to head here and it showed as Clann na nGael strolled to a comprehensive victory without having to get into top gear. Gareth McDermott notched 1-5 with his brother Noel and Brian Dooher also on target as the home side led 1-7 to 0-3 at the break, Niall Morgan, Gary McCurry and Mark McLernon the Edendork marksmen.
A minute into the second half Adrian Ball won a penalty and Stephen O'Neill converted it and after that it was only a matter of what the winning margin would be. McCurry hit an 11th minute point for the St.Malachys but that was to be the sum total of their second half efforts on another disappointing day for them. Ball and Rory Devine weighed in with a brace of points each with Sean O'Kane scoring a 50th minute goal as Clann na nGael continue to set the pace.
Battling triumph on the road
Rock 0-13
Killeeshil 2-10
KILLEESHIL picked up a good win on the road when they had three points to spare over a battling Rock outfit. Points from James McCreesh, Aidan Girvan and Ryan Crilley gave the home side a slight advantage early on but then the visitors struck for two quick fire goals, Jim McMullan with a fine individual effort and Shane Mallon getting the other one after McMullan's initial effort had been saved by keeper Barry Coyle.
Rock though fought back with three Martin McCreesh points to leave all to play for in the second half. The St.Marys maintained their lead in the second half through efforts from Mallon, Martin Hamill and Kevin Hughes but McCreesh's seventh point of the afternoon helped set up a good finish. With five minutes to go Rock were awarded a penalty but James McCreesh was wide from the spot as Killeeshil held on to claim the win.
Reds open daylight
Trillick 1-14
Eskra 1-9
IN the end Trillick had five points to spare over Eskra but it was only in the second half that the St.Macartans managed to put some daylight between themselves and the visitors as they maintained their unbeaten start to the new season. Denis Connolly, Shane Gormley, Niall Gormley and Niall Donnelly all featured on the score sheet for the home side in the first half but the Emmetts were still well in contention at the midway stage as they only trailed by the minimum margin, Cormac Arkinson and Peter Hughes with points for the visitors and Paul Turbitt with a 23rd minute goal.
Trillick points from Mattie Donnelly and Sean Kelly came either side of a well taken goal from Shane Gormley and even though Hughes took his personal haul to seven with a few late scores Trillick had done enough to secure another brace of league points.
Moy goals decisive
Urney 0-11
Moy 2-7
URNEY may have scored more times than their opponents but in the end Moy's two goals proved to be the crucial scores as their recent upturn in fortunes continued. Johnny Lafferty, James McMenamin and Fergal McNulty had first half points for the St.Columba's with county attacker Colm Cavanagh scoring four for the visitors before Padraig Laverty levelled matters.
Urney edged ahead in the third quarter thanks to scores from Stephen Lafferty and McNulty but in the absence of the injured Sean Cavanagh his younger brother Colm was proving to be more than an able deputy as he collected a James Devlin pass to finish to the net. Stephen and Johnny Lafferty both converted late frees for the home side but it was a case of too little too late as moments earlier Ryan O'Neill had scored Moy's crucial second goal.
Plunketts produce the goods
Pomeroy
2-14
Moortown 1-8

The opening quarter was a close enough contest with Ollie McCreesh, Christopher Colhoun, Conan Lavery and Colum Campbell on target for their respective teams.
The crucial period of the game came between the 17th and 26th minutes as the Plunketts hit 2-4 without reply with Charlie Cochrane and Ciaran McKenna getting their goals as the home side enjoyed a healthy ten point cushion at halftime. Barry McGuigan and Michael Hagan had second half points for the St.Malachys but four McKenna points always kept the home side in control with Padraig Hagan's goal from a 57th minute penalty proving to be nothing more than a consolation score.

Stewartstown 0-9
Greencastle 0-7

Gortin stage terrific rally
Tattyreagh 0-11
Gortin 2-10
GORTIN picked up their second win of the season to move level with Tattyreagh in the table although the home side will reflect on a game they lost after being in a strong position. As the game moved into the final quarter Tattyreagh led 0-11 to 0-6 and looked to have had all the hard work done with Darren Mullan and Ciaran Harkin scoring three points each, and Kevin Gallagher and Adrian Harley weighing in with a couple each as well.
Gortin though refused to accept defeat and a thrilling comeback saw them took the honours for a result that they hope will kick start their season. County minor Diarmuid McNulty took his personal haul to 1-4 with a goal with Ciaran McGarvey also finding the net while Barry McCrory and Kevin McCullagh both hit points. A miserable afternoon for the home side was completed towards the end when Conor Taggart was sent off by Coalisland whistler Shane Dorrity.

McIntosh and Stephen Hughes responded with Dungannon points but in the 49th minute Kelly grabbed his second goal of the afternoon. The visitors' afternoon didn't get any better as Declan Treanor picked up a straight red card late on.
