Teenager faces litany of charges

A FINTONA youth who appeared at the local magistrates court on a litany of charges including assault, was given a suspended sentence in a young offenders centre.

The 16-year -old was charged with obstructing police, resisting arrest, disorderly behaviour, assault, destroying property, damaging a glass door. The charges relate to incidents in May and July last year.

He was given two months in the young offenders centre for each offence and to run concurrently. The sentence was suspended for two years .
