Family dismayed at mention of name

Regarding the front-page article, Drumquin Raid for Gangmaster (UH, June 5), it is with dismay that I noted that our family name had been mentioned in the second paragraph.

This was most upsetting for myself and my family as the premises at 45 Main Street, Drumquin, has not been in our possession since it was sold in 2003 to the present owner.

To have our family name associated with this article was totally inappropriate and could have led readers to believe that we were in some way responsible/implicated in this awful affair.

It is incredible that the current owner would not be mentioned, while our family name was included.

I would call for an immediate public apology for the distress that this article has caused our family.

Mrs M. Winters
