Crashed into back of car

AN Omagh woman who drove her car into the back of another vehicle as it attempted to turn right has suggested she may have failed to see the indicator because it was a sunny day.

Claire Ann Conway (28) of St Julian's Way was fined £200 and had four penalty points endorsed on her licence when she appeared before the town's magistrates court.

The collision occurred on the Killyclogher Road on March 24 when the defendant attempted to pass a car she said was driving 'very slowly' but it went to turn right. Defence solicitor said his client accepted her driving had been 'below standard' and she wished to apologise to the court. District Judge allowed Conway 10 weeks to pay the fine.
