Take an early lunch break this Friday at 12.30pm and spend it in Strule Arts Centre. Heart 'n' Soul are an extraordinary company of artists with learning disabilities. Pino Frumiento, Lizzie Emeh and Mark Snead will delight you with their soul, jazz and world music vibes and share with you the stories behind the songs. Backed by their talented band and a rich visual landscape, the trio will show you just why audiences all over the world have given them such high acclaim.
A spokesperson said, "As part of the Omagh Sligo Joint Cultural Events Project, Heart 'n' Soul artists have spent the week in Omagh working with a group of talented local artists from groups including Mencap and the 18+ Club.
With a lead artist with a learning disability and two other facilitators they have been working over the past three days on their performance skills. On Friday they will be sharing their performance piece, which includes dance, drama and music as part of the support for Heart 'n' Soul Unplugged. The performance should last about one hour and this is a great way to end the working week."
