£2,000 prizes in Battle of the Bands contest at Arts Centre

No IPTC Header found

This is Last Standing – the ultimate contest in the Battle of the Bands! Only one band can win. Only one band can be left standing at the end of the battle. Though we say battle, it's really a war. A war that separates those who believe that they have what it takes to win and those who stand by and look on, or fall by the wayside, unable to hack the pace.

We challenge you and ask: which side are you on?

For the winners, an outstanding reward:

* cash prize

* demo recording at Shabby Road studio

* 100 copies of the demo

* expert advice from those in the music and promotion business

* mentoring

* high profile playing opportunities

Strule Arts Centre in Omagh is the stage where the battle will take place, on Saturday, August 30 at 8pm. Are your band members are aged between 14 and 21 years old and ready to compete against other local bands for excellent prizes? Get online and download your application form from www.last-standing.com or contact margaret.watson@omagh.gov.uk

Deadline for entry forms and demo CDs is Friday, August 1.
