Tyrone Juniors (Pool)

They may have returned from Offaly without the All-Ireland trophy but the Tyrone juniors could hold their heads high after putting in a tremendous display in the team event. The county’s Junior ‘A’s reached the final only to be defeated by the current All-Ireland champions Cavan on a 10-6 scoreline. The Tyrone lads had led 4-1 after the first session but the holders showed why they are a class team by claiming another junior title. Still it was some performance by Tyrone to reach the final in their first year competing.
