Lawnmower stolen


A LAWNMOWER has been stolen from a licensed club in Fintona. The mower and a small drum of petrol were stolen from a container behind the club at Kiln Street between Tuesday evening last (17th) and Saturday morning (21st). AN Omagh woman who drove her car into the back of another vehicle as it attempted to turn right has suggested she may have failed to see the indicator because it was a sunny day. A SION Mills man appeared in the local magistrates court last month after he was caught fishing in a prohibited area (the sanctuary) and obstructing a Loughs Agency Fishery Officer on the River Mourne on July 23. A FINTONA man has been charged with possession of one ecstasy tablet and herbal cannabis as well as damaging a police car and disorderly behaviour.
