An Enniskillen man has appeared before Fermanagh Magistrates Court charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply.
Appearing from custody for the purposes of the holding of a preliminary enquiry into his case was Tarik Darai (20) with an address at Fairview Avenue in Enniskillen.
Darai faces a charge that on 5th October last year he had in his possession a Class A drug, namely cocaine, with intent to supply to others. He is also charged with possession of a Class A drug, namely ecstasy with intent to supply and is further charged with possession of ketamine with intent to supply.
A solicitor for the prosecution service said she believed there was a case to answer on the basis of the papers before the court, which was agreed by Resident Magistrate Liam McNally.
This wasn't formally conceded by defence counsel Ms Fee, BL, but no contrary submission was made at this time. The defendant was remanded in custody to appear before Dungannon Crown Court on 15th May for the purposes of arraignment.
