£2,400 worth of outboard motors stolen


Police are appealing to home owners and holiday makers to secure their property in the run up to the tourist season.

The appeal comes after they received a complaint that two outboard Yamaha motors were stolen form the Boa Island Road, Kesh at approximately 8.30pm on Friday, 11th April. One motor is valued at £1,600, the other is worth £400.

A blue and silver O'Brien Monoski, worth £400 was also stolen along with several pairs of green wellingtoms, size four to eight. In the the robbery, a padlock was prized open and the items were then taken. The owners were last at the property four weeks ago.
