Literature Tour of Fermanagh

The Clinton Centre in Enniskillen is the venue for a 'Literature Tour' of Fermanagh, hosted by Seamas Mac Annaidh.

A series of talks continue every Thursday night at 8pm and everyone is welcome.

This Thursday (8 May) the topic will centre around two Gaelic manuscripts from Fermanagh in 1798.

15 May looks at Peter Magennis 'The Bard of Knockmore'. While why there is a need for more Fermanagh biographies will be looked at on Thursday 22 May.

The penultimate week (29 May) will discuss Simon Macken and Ismael Fitzadam - one family or two literary traditions? And the series will be brought to a conclusion on 5 June with a look at celebrating local bards and ballads, including a selection of Fermanagh verse and rhyme.
